Seersucker Fabrics

Seersucker is a lightweight, puckered fabric, typically made of cotton, but sometimes also incorporating blends with synthetic fibers. It is characterized by its unique, wrinkled appearance, which is created through a weaving process that alternates tight and slack yarns. This distinctive texture results in a series of crinkled stripes, usually forming a pattern of puckered and smooth areas. • Machine wash at a maximum of 30°C on a delicate cycle
• Do not wring or twist
• Dry flat in the shade; do not tumble dry
• Iron at a low temperature on the reverse
• Dry clean for a crisper finish
