MEN'S STYLE INFLUENCER - REHAN KHALID
Hi Rehan! Tell us a little about yourself.
Hello! So I am a fashion enthusiast who from London who believes fashion can be seen as a form of communication without us even realising, As well as being a fashion guy, I work in the Private Banking sector and in my spare time I enjoy Football (Soccer), Muay Thai and the Gym!
"The only person you should be comparing yourself to is yourself" - Rehan
So what do you do when you’re not working?
In my free time I am a very keen sportsman! I used to compete in Muay Thai and I regularly play football. If you look at my Instagram you would also see that I have a Wolf called Missy! I spend a lot of time exploring London with her too.
Who are you listening to at the moment? What type of music do you love?
I am a huge Hip Hop and R&B fan so anyone like Drake, Jay Z etc. I also love the UK music scene, we call it “Grime” here.
I love your dog. It’s great to see the bonding of you and “Missy”. Tell us a little bit about her.
She is my partner in crime - Whenever I post her on Instagram she gets more attention than me! She is a Wolf that I have had for nearly 10 years now, she loves exploring London and meeting new people especially when I take her out to shoot some content. She is super friendly so if anyone from London spots us then come and say hi!

We love all your styles and how you mix and match your outfit. Where did you get your fashion inspiration from?
I have always dressed for myself, which has been my inspiration. I like to try new things and mix & match as much as I can. I don’t think you should limit yourself to certain styles or ways of looking, if you like it then try it.
Why do you think men should care about how they look?
I think the way you look is always the first impression you give before you even open your mouth. If you take care of yourself then you are more likely to set a great first impression. It can also help with your own confidence and self-esteem! If you ensure you are looking good you will see a positive impact on the way people view you – try it out!
Is there any positive impact in your work-life/relationship after you start dressing up compared to before? or do you always dress like this from your teenage years?
I have always dressed like this and I know it has had a great impact. If I am wearing a suit to an interview, I have always noticed a positive first impression. When I have met new people, the first thing they have always said is how well dressed I am.

If one of your really close friends is poorly dressed, would you advise him? Why?
I always give my friends advice on Fashion, they always welcome it. I would always be honest with my friends because that is what I would want from them too. However I always make sure I provide the advice in a positive manner rather than making them feel bad about what they are wearing.
Who is your fashion icon or who do you look up to in men’s fashion?
I would say David Beckham – Like me he can mix fashion up. He wears smart clothes as well as streetwear and sportswear!

Where do you make your suits? What men’s fashion labels do you love? Do you have any favourites here in your hometown? Care to share a few?
I usually get my suits from SuitSupply – They are great. They make sure the suit is fitted to your body. I also have a lot from Reiss and Moss Bros who can also ensure they tailor the suit to your size.
We appreciate that you have bought a few pairs of Zeve for your shoe collections. How did your love-at-first-sight for Zeve happen?
My love at first site was the Black Belgian Monk Straps. When I first saw them I had to get them! I knew instantly I could style them with so many different outfits and actually my most popular picture is with me wearing them!
Last but not least, do you have any tips for men to be more confident?
I would say to be more confident you need to do things for yourself and not other people. The only person you should be comparing yourself to is yourself – Be a better person every day and you will become confident. Take pride in your appearance and make sure you are kind to those around you and the rest will come.
